Undergraduate- East Tennessee State University College of Nursing

My undergraduate clinical practice was completed within Mountain States Health Alliance facilities. The clinical programs included pediatrics, oncology, geriatric care, mental health, care of the adult, and surgery. My senior practicum, which consisted of 240 hours, took place at Johnson City Medical Center in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I also spent some of those clinical hours with the NICU clinical leader, house supervisor, and case management.

 

Graduate- King University College of Nursing: Nursing Administration

My graduate clinicals took place at Holston Valley Medical Center with Laurie Kaudewitz, RNC-OB, MSN. Laurie Kaudewitz is the Women's and Infants' Services Director and the Interim Emergency Department Director. I spent many of my hours rounding, attending meetings, and working on financial reports with Laurie. I also spent many hours working on my practicum project.
